Pleco Tabs XL is the staple food without dyes and preservatives for larger catfish (e.g. Plecos) and other bottom fish.
The big tabs can also be stuck to the aquarium glass. This kind of feeding provides fascinating opportunities to observe different ornamental fish species.
The high amount of natural spirulina (20%), with many minerals and vital substances, supports digestion, color development and the health of the animals. Since the tablets retain their shape for a long time, they allow eating slowly without polluting the water.
Appropriate nutrition for catfish
Catfish are usually rather shy aquarium inhabitants, some of which only come out at night and search for food either in the bottom substrate or by rasping and with suction. Accordingly, they require food that sinks to the bottom and retains its shape for a long time. Most catfish are omnivorous, but there are some species that mainly prefer plant-based food (e.g. loricariids) or animal-based food (e.g. Corydoras). sera offers three staple foods for catfish whose different composition and structure optimally meet the specific requirements.

Feed once or twice daily, only as much as the animals take up within a short time.
